“huckleberry” This truck has incredible OG paint and a crowd favorite. I picked this truck up from the previous owner who had owned it since the 70’s. This truck has amazing original paint and patina, and we are keeping that. We are replacing the typical areas that have some rust (cab corner, kick panel, etc) and will blend in the new metal to the old paint. This truck is receiving a complete S10 Frame swap from a donor vehicle. Engine will be (wait for it) 345 Horsepower LS1 mated to a T56 6 speed Manual transmission. This sleeper truck will most likely smoke unsuspecting Honda and Subaru drivers that have no clue what they are dealing with. All that power will be stopped with 4 wheel disc brakes and transferred to the ground via a blazer rear end with posi traction. Front suspension will receive 2″ drop spindles with leafs and blocks in the rear. All new Fuel system with fuel pump, lines, etc for the LS1. Truck will have shorty headers complete with Dual 40 series Flowmasters dumping out over the rear axle. Truck has brand new front to back American Autowire body harness and BP performance LS swap engine harness. Rounding out the engine package is a Champion aluminum radiator with electric fan and Vintage Air air conditioning.
The Interior of the truck is all brand new with new paint, new sound deadening material, new carpet, new seats, door panels, headliner, window cranks, door felts, weatherstripping, all glass is brand new, Chrome 6 speed shifter, tilt column, steering wheel, dolphin gauges, Retro sounds radio with USB plug and Bluetooth, charging port under dash for phones, OBII diagnostic port under dash, basically interior is like a new truck.
Out back the bed wood has been replaced, new bed strips, new tailgate chains, new taillights, wheel tubs and brand new 18″ Ridler wheels and tires.
Everything on this truck is pretty much brand new with the exception of the 5 window 1953 3100 body. This truck is going to perform as well as it looks and the new owner will have smiles for miles behind the wheel.
